Essential Safety & Compliance
How Our Training Levels Work
Level 1: Awareness
1.5 Hours
Target: Ancillary staff (housekeepers, kitchen team, maintenance, admin) who work in care environments but do not deliver direct care, plus brand-new care starters needing immediate baseline grounding.
3 sessions allowed per day
Level 2: Understanding
3 Hours
Target: Direct care staff (care assistants, support workers) generally with 1+ year of experience needing standard legislation, practical application, and care delivery skills.
2 sessions allowed per day
Level 3: Supervisory
6 Hours
Target: Senior care workers, team leaders, and supervisors responsible for competency reviews, monitoring care standards, and staff mentoring.
1 session allowed per day
Level 4: Management
6 Hours + Work
Target: Registered managers, champions, and care leaders overseeing policy development, CQC audit readiness, and organizational safety governance. Includes pre/post-course work.
1 session allowed per day
Fire Safety
Levels 1 – 4Comprehensive fire safety training covering risk identification, prevention, emergency alarms, and safe evacuation strategies in care settings.
Key Impact: UK fire and rescue services attend over 380 care setting fires yearly. Proper evacuation planning protects lives and shields your organization from statutory enforcement.
Fire Warden / Marshall
Levels 2 – 4Designated training for fire wardens, focusing on warden command duties, progressive horizontal evacuation, sweep procedures, and emergency liaison.
Key Impact: Care premises represent ~11% of all formal fire enforcement notices. Trained wardens ensure calm, swift evacuation for vulnerable service users when seconds count.
Health & Safety
Levels 1 – 4Practical grounding in workplace health and safety legislation, hazard identification, incident logging, and safe working environments.

Moving & Assisting People
Levels 1 – 4Ergonomic principles, safe client transfer techniques, practical hoist operation, risk assessment, and dignity preservation during movement.

Moving & Handling of Loads
Levels 1 – 4Safe manual handling principles for moving non-people objects, delivery stock, and equipment to prevent workplace injury.

COSHH Awareness
Levels 1 – 4Safe management, dilution, storage, PPE selection, and risk assessment of hazardous chemicals and cleaning agents used in care facilities.

Infection Control

Adult Basic Life Support

Risk Assessment

Accident Investigation
